5th Annual Volunteer Appreciation Day for Calvert County Members & Families!

On Sunday, May 19, 2013 from noon to 4pm, members and their families from Calvert County Volunteer Fire-Rescue-EMS Departments attended the 5th Annual Volunteer Appreciation Day at the fairgrounds. This is a day for the volunteers to relax and enjoy the good food, games and celebrate. There were approximately 500 people in attendance at this year's event.
Prince Frederick Volunteer Fire Department won the volleyball tournament for the second consequitive year and got to take the leg trophy home again. Congratulations!

The official Volunteer Appreciation Day has not been announced. I can however, confirm that it is in September.

good morning, have they decide on a date for the fire department appreciation day in september? i have another auxiliary member that has grand kids that likes to bring them. these kids are two and four and they have a blast there!
