Calvert County High School Recruits Participate in the Skills USA Regional Competition

The Calvert County Fire-Rescue-EMS High School Recruit Program participated in the Skills USA Regional Competition on February 4th, 2017 Hosted by Huntingtown Volunteer Fire Department and Rescue Squad. The Skills Regional Competition consist of a modified C-Pat agility test, Skills Competition and a written exam which students compete among their peers, Charles County and St. Mary's County High School Students. The top 3-Students from Regional's will go on to Represent their County in the Sate of Maryland Competition to be held in Millersville, MD. Calvert County's own placed 1st, 2nd and 3rd Place. The 3-students are 3rd place-Ethan Johnson (Dunkirk Vol. FD); 2nd Place John Threlfall (Huntingtown Vol FD) and 1st Place-Brady McKee (Prince Frederick Vol FD). These three Calvert County Students will be attending and Representing Calvert County at the State of Maryland Skills USA Competition.
