It brings great sadness to announce the passing of past Charter Member and original Engineer of the Huntingtown Volunteer Fire Department, Albert Lee Robinson. Mr Robinson was instrumental in the foundation of the department in the early 1970's when the citizens of Huntigtown realized they lacked the needed fire protection for their small-knit farming community. The original meetings took place at the Huntingtown United Methodist Church. These citizens ultimately founded the charter and development of where we are today.
