| The Annual Regional Skills USA Firefighting Competition was held on Saturday, February 2, 2013 at the Huntingtown VFD & RS. Three students from each of the Tri-County area (Calvert, St Mary's & Charles County) were selected to compete in this competition. All students did an amazing job!! 1st place goes out to Brad Damstead from Dunkirk VFD & RS, 2nd place Matt Montgomery from Huntingtown VFD & RS and 3rd place, William Carter from St. Mary's County. All three of these students will compete in the State Skills USA Competition on Saturday, April 20, 2013 in Anne Arundel County for a chance to go to the National Skills USA Competition in Kansas City in June, 2013.
