Merit full time position, Grade 812, 40 hours per week. This position is eligible for telework.

Performs supervisory public safety communications work for the County's central emergency communications center. Work involves working with sophisticated computer and wireless technology equipment and software programming, upgrades and repairs. Database management is an essential task. Work involves supervising dispatch staff engaged in receiving emergency 911 and non-emergency calls for police, fire, rescue and emergency medical services, and dispatching such calls to appropriate service. The work requires prior experience in the field. The work is performed under general supervision.
