Each year from June 1-7, National CPR and AED Awareness Week stresses the importance of CPR and AED use. When someone goes into sudden cardiac arrest, every second counts. According to the American Red Cross, about 70 percent of out-of-hospital cardiac arrests happen in homes. Knowing CPR and how to use an AED could save the life of someone you love or someone next to you knowing these skills may save yours.

Over the next week we will be sharing life saving information and resources with you in the hopes of spotlighting how so many more lives can be saved if more people knew CPR and how to use an AED.
