Calvert County Government is offering an exciting opportunity for individuals interested in working in our Calvert Emergency Communications Division. Depending on the qualifications of the candidates selected, the positions listed below will be filled at the following levels:

Call Taker (Starting rate - $17.75/hr - $19.01/hr)
Dispatcher Trainee (Starting rate - $18.64/hr - $19.93/hr)
Dispatcher I (Starting rate - $20.53/hr - $22.00/hr)
Our dispatch center performs public safety communications work for the County's central communications Control Center. Work involves receiving emergency 911 and non-emergency calls for police, fire, rescue and emergency medical services, and dispatching such calls to the appropriate service.
