Our hearts are heavy and we are extremely saddened to hear of the line of duty death of a brave firefighter that occurred early this morning at a house fire in St. Mary's County. We extend our deepest sympathy to the family, friends, and fire service brothers and sisters from both this fallen hero's volunteer department of Leonardtown VFD and career station at NDW and we pray for comfort and healing during the days and weeks ahead.
