George had been discharged just a couple hours before his passing from the Calvert Memorial Hospital to be home with his wife and son. Mr. George Hope joined the Solomons Volunteer Rescue Squad and Fire Department in April 1993. In May 1994 he joined the North Beach Volunteer Fire Department and Rescue Squad. In April 1998 he joined the Calvert Advanced Life Support where he served as a Medic and held the position of Assistant Chief. Please keep George's family in your prayers during this time.
